If you're not signed up for the Freebie Friday Newsletters from The Old Schoolhouse, I suggest you do that─like, right now!!
They have some great stuff each week, and it's fun to bookmark them or save them to a hard drive for later use. This week, the Freebie list includes links to resources about the Human Body. Feel free to follow the link here and get yourself signed up for these newsletters each week. I promise you'll benefit from them.

I also found these web sites about the Human Body...

I'm sure there are bazillions more.

What have you found? Share your favorite bookmark in your comment! After all, that's what this is about─sharing what we find with others so they can benefit from it!

We can tell our values by looking at our checkbook stubs. ~Gloria Steinem~

Do most of us know where our money goes? Most of it probably goes to APRs. When is America going to see the value in debt-free living?
For those who are interested in getting debt free and staying that way, there are a few resources that we've found helpful in the endeavor:

Budget Map

and for kids:

Junior's Clubhouse

Now, more than ever, we're seeing the need for living debt free. With the plummet of the economy, many credit card companies have raised their percentage rates. People are being forced to look at a new lifestyle.

I love Dave Ramsey's website. There are so many tools and ideas to help not only the individual, but also the business corporation get out of debt.
My favorite section is The Truth About... section. Wanna know the real facts about debt. Go there.

A few tips I've picked up along the way:
  • SPEND ONLY WHAT YOU HAVE RIGHT NOW!
  • Start teaching your kids about debt. Get them learning how to spend and save wisely. Don't expect that they'll learn it on their own when they 'grow up'.
  • Model good spending to friends, family, and your own children.
  • Pray for self-control!
  • Tithe. Not to 'earn' a blessing on you pocketbook, but because you love the Lord with all your heart, soul, and mind.
