SO, with that, here are the highlights from our wonderful summer!
Some things we did this summer...

| ...went to the State Fair! |

| ...had some amazing meals... |

| ...with some amazing friends... |

| ...tried out some science experiments best meant for the yard... |

| ...made our first compost bin... |
 |
| ...did some fishing! |
 |
| ...and some more fishing... |

| ...had a few fights... |
 |
| ...made our first batch of butter... |
 |
| ...learned to mow the grass for the first time... |
 |
| ...HAD VBS!!! |
 |
| ...saw some incredible insects... |
 |
| ...had two ear surgeries.... |
 |
| ...lost....and then found a snake in the car... |
 |
| ...socialized the dogs... |
 |
| ...made some silly things... |
 |
| ....did some MORE fishing... |
 |
| ...started our garden... |

| ...tended our garden... |

http://www.organicgardening.com/ at the bottom of this page is a cool cheap idea to make a compost pile for our garden-I'm thinking since we live out here, we're going to need a much bigger composting pile-we've pretty much filled up the one you brought out here-I know it's not decomposing now either, but still, I still see a need for a bigger one-using pallets held in by fence posts or rectangular hay bales! how easy is that!
I'm getting excited to start our garden! :)
